Playtime!
I’ve said it many times but if you don’t train or practice then you wont improve.
The best in any profession recognise this and constantly look for ways to improve. Photography is no different which is why Sheila and I regularly look for ways to build our skill and experience base. We want to work with the best and we’re so lucky to have been befriended by John Denton and his wife Liz who together form Denton Photography. John has become a friend, confidant, some time mentor and generally a great source of inspiration. He has a studio near the lovely village of Bishop Burton and it’s based on a farm with views over Beverley with it’s stunning Minster. This gives John the full run of the farm with it’s amazing backdrops. Heaven for a creative photographer. John had a contract to fulfill. He had to produce some portfolio work for the top contestants in the recent local beauty pageants. Tough job eh? Anyway - even John needs to concentrate on one model at a time so he invited us down to occupy a model or two whilst he was working elsewhere with others. This gave me free reign to do my own thing and produce some additional images for the girls to use. It also allowed me some time to try out things which you cant do in a normal day at the office. The weather on the day was a bit dodgy so I was restricted to indoor work and there’s so much left to explore outside, but nevertheless, it was all good creative time. Let’s know what you think

Very nice Kenn, your Shiela must be a very trusting lass.
