The day dawned grey and wet as per the forecast but it wasn’t going to dampen spirits.

After grabbing some shots of the girls in the morning, Sheila remained with them whilst I  shot off to find the guys, and there was a huge number of them all in one space.  It was a bit cramped and more than a bit amusing as I think I saw about eight different ways to tie a cravat, although Carly’s brother Les had done his research on U Tube!  I was given strict instructions to get some shots of Liam dressing their little boy, Callum, and both were as good as gold.  The time just passed so quickly and just after the surprise VW camper van arrived, it was time to head off back to Linden Hall.  Some lovely moments with the girls as Dad came into the room then off to the ceremony.   The forecast was for it to brighten up about one o clock and it was dead right, just in time for confetti and group shots.  We were so thankful and also very grateful for Carly and Liam just going with the flow to help us get some lovely couple shots, even though the ground was soaking wet.  Wedding breakfast speeches were lovely with Dad surprising the couple with a fantastic honeymoon.  Just amazing and as I write this they will be on their way.  As we were having our “downtime”, I wandered outside for some fresh air and found that the setting sun was working with the moisture in the air to create some lovely backdrops.  So, it was back inside quickly to grab the couple and get them outside quickly.  Carly had already discarded her shoes but once she saw the light, she was off down the lane like a greyhound bless her.  I’ve included a couple here just to let you see.  All in all, we had a lovely day and so glad we could play our part.  Here you go Mr and Mrs Bowmaker.
